Choice in life

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I am a senior high student from Fuyang high school.And now I will talk with you about something important in life.

You know choice is everywhere.And it is shown even in quite small thing in life including taking bus , watering the flowers and walking the dog. We must choose if we need to do that .

When I got the grades of the High school entrance exam, I was too irresolute to choose which high school to study in . Both Fuyang high school and Fuyang No.2 high school are equipped with high qualified teachers & education resources. But Fuyang high school has a longer his- tory. So I thought it had more experience of education. So I wanted to enter Fuyang high school. But my father said that I could enter the best class in Fuyang No.2 high school.And I would accept the best education in it . My resolve began to waver. When I was hesitating, I saw an ant on my desk. I was so worried that I flicked it off the table . But after a while , it clamer up my desk again. I was surprised by the great power that the ant has. It made its own choice to keep trying . But I didn’t have this kind of power to stick to my choice. I’m ashamed . So I thought I should learn from it and do what I want to do . I told my father .“I have had decided that I will go to Fuyang High school. That’s my life. I want to be the owner of my life.”My father agreed and said:“Choose what you want to choose.”I was happy ,because I caught the important choice in life. And then truth proved that my choice was right.The students of Fuyang High school are so friendly that we can get along well with each other.Besides the teachers of Fuyang High school are so kind that I regard them as my friends.

The ant is a small thing that all of you will ignore. But its power can’t be ignored .We are just like the ant .We are not so powerful, but we should choose what we really want to do and grasp every choice in life. If we do this,we will not fell regretful and lead a meaningful life. One day, we are sure to get your dream realized. So our future is in our own. It’s totally up to ourselves.

Choice is mine and the life is mine.
