Let’s dream without limit

Nowadays we young people bombard ourselves with the following questions:

Someday Am I going to have a Fancy enough title or a fancy enough car?

How big will my future house or corner office be?

We ask these questions, because all those people that are deemed to be successful own those things. And in order to repeat their success, we presumably have to get those things too. So we are tempted to give up our own dreams and pursue instead the path set by others.

Then when we find ourselves, or more often our parents find us, deviating a little bit from that path, we think it alarming and begin to feel the pressure, fearing that we are never going to succeed. Then we become desperate and at times despair about our future.

My dear friends, when we are confronted with these questions and pressures, why don’t we pause for a moment and ask ourself two simple questions:

What do I really want, what is my real dream?

Then when we find the answer, we should establish a clear goal as to how to realize our dreams.

At this stage of our lives, we all realize that it is easy to dream big but there are a lot of stumbling blocks out there to hamper our progress.

we might all want to spread our wings and fly high into the sky, but the vicissitudes of life, more often than not, dampen our passion and bring us down to earth.

In the face of these pressures and worries of life, we should never succumb, we should instead hold fast to our dreams while at the same time defying the odds.

To elaborate, I can think of no better example than the life story of the present president of the US of A, Barack Obama.

Obama was born in single-parent family that was obviously unconducive to the growth of his natual talent, but he sprang up from humble beginnings and blue-collar roots, without fortune, family connection, or patronage; He was self-prompted, self-sustained, and at times self-taught, over his life, he conquered the bitterest adversities imaginable, he prevailed because he applied himself assiduously to his dreams and persevered.

His story is unique, but also universal, in it we see the larger story of life…

The combination of a well-defined purpose and the spirit of perseverance enables us to see the shorelines beyond the rough waters ahead.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

We must Be ambitious in the pursuit of the things we want and the person we want to become. The result might not be copesetic, at least that is where we get started.
