世纪君从前天半决赛开始蹲点到现在，发现这次赛场上备受关注的不仅仅是我们的明星选手，或是评委之一的外交部翻译司培训处处长孙宁，还有一个叫Oscar Wilde的人。这位爱尔兰大文豪的话被选手和评委们频繁引用，到后来汕头大学英语语言中心主任毛思慧评委提议大家，下次再提到王尔德的时候干脆直接用他名字的首字母缩写 “OW”好了，因为大家对此早已耳熟能详。

OW出生于1854年，是英国最伟大的作家与艺术家之一。大家小时候读过的《快乐王子》就是他写的。他长这样：
