On October 1st., the Asian Games women's basketball semifinals ignited the fire. After four quarters, South Korea defeated Chinese Taipei by a score of87 - 59 and will compete with China for the Asian Games championship.
At the beginning of the competition, Taipei stroke preemptively. At one point, the score was pulled up to 9(KOR) - 16(TPE). But 8 minutes later, Taipei has made some major mistakes which enabled Korea to pull the score up to 16 - 16. After that, Taipei no longer had the ability to bring the situation back.
As a result, Korea won four consecutive games to win the laurel by 28 points.
A light show was held right before the competition, which impressed many viewers.
